Can you use XeXmenU to delete the .xzp file? then it will revert to the default dash.

If your Freestyle software is on an external hard drive, all you have to do is simply hook that up to your computer and delete the theme from your FSD / Skins folder (I believe thats the location). If it is on your xbox hard drive and you do not have a way to hook it up to your computer, if you can find the file manager in the skin, use that to browse to the skin and delete it. Usually the skins will have a theme browser so look for that first, if not then use these other methods. If you are connected to your xbox through your network, you can FTP in and then browse to the skin and delete it that way.

Thanks guys for your help, problem has been resolved.

Ended up going into the file manager and deleting the file, the button config was a little different from what i was used to playing around with, but got there in the end, thanks for the prompt responses. for those of you playing at home it was installed on the xbox hard drive and not on a flash stick

Glad to help. I find it helpful to keep FSD and your games on an external hard drive, then if things go bad, you can always easily hook it up to a PC and fix things as needed. Also you can store your dashlaunch ini file on the external hard drive as well so when you have it plugged in, you can have it auto load FSD from that drive. Just my preference anyway.

Cool, thanks for the info. i have 2 250gb memory bricks for the xbox. 1 is used for xbox360 games and the other is used for my xbla game libary, which is a little annoying to swap over when needed. but good idea on the external drive, will take into consideration.

Yea ive got 2 as well. One is used for DLC and the other for Rock Band / Guitar Hero songs. All my XBLA is stored on my external hard drive since they can be booted from FSD. If you decide to just use the xbox hard drives and not an external, then you may want to copy a backup FSD into another folder such as app/fsd2 and create a quickboot file (which shows up under your games in the dashboard) that points to that fsd. This way if something gets messed up, you can easily boot to the backup fsd and use the filemanager to fix any issues.

Actually, now that I think about it, the easiest way would be to simply make sure you have dashlaunch installed and updated, then if things go wrong with your xbox hard drive, you can simply plug in a thumb drive with launch.ini and fsd on it. Then it will boot up to that clean FSD.
