USB Xtaf Gui v36

.rar  USBXTAFGUI_v36.rar (Size: 419.38 KB / Downloads: 373)

it works on virgin system so no hacks needed and no talking your hdd apart

format a usb stick on your xbox

Copy a theme from your hdd to your usb stick

open it with USB Xtaf Xplorer on your pc find the 00030000 folder

inject your custom theme into the 00030000 folder

Put the usb back into you xbox and set the theme via profiles

Remember, you must have the latest dash to do it this way since the latest one has support for USB drives

I think those ones are built in somehow and therefore you cant get access to them easily. I may be wrong but dont recall seeing them either. Why do you want them?

the instruction says "Copy a theme from your hdd to your usb stick". doesn't it mean a pre-existing theme is needed?

Yes you take a theme that is existing on your HDD already, copy it to the USB then you inject your own theme in it's place and copy it back over..

A pre-existing theme is not needed, you can build one from scratch on your computer, copy it to USB and load it up on your xbox. Or you can download an NXE theme from here and copy it over to your USB or Xbox Hard Drive and load it up.

RE: transfere custom nxe themes with usb
Guys, I really need help here. I have a Jasper Arcade Xbox (Sadly impossible to Jtag).
I was growing really annoyed by its dull default themes, so I decided to check if there was any way to create one myself “Can’t be that hard” thought. But in the end it’s proving to be a daunting task, I have few and utterly n00b questions:
1) It is possible to create a theme (Not only backgrounds, but also the icons to Music, Video, Etc) on a Non-Jtag Xbox? if so, what tools do I need?
2) I first entered this topic searching for a way to transfer custom themes from the PC to the Xbox via USB, I downloaded the Xtaf and prepared the USB (X360 formatted) but in “open it with USB Xtaf Xplorer on your pc find the 00030000 folder” all I get after opening Xtaf is a blank window with 3 options, of which “Extract” does nothing at all. Also the only thing I see when I open the USB from my computer is a hidden “Xbox360” folder with “Data0000”, “Data0001” and so on…How do I get to see this “00030000/Themes” folder?.

Again, most of them REALLY n00b questions most of you surely know, any help at all would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Edit:#facepalm# Lol, just a moment ago saw the "File" button in the XTaf, disregard the second question, i suck.

You have an option to create a background image for the main, games, media and settings screens and the "platform" color at the bottom but are limited in the colors. This is very easy to do if you grab modio and use their theme making option in the software, just load up your images into it and it will create the file for you to place on the USB

Thanks for the answer, i just needed to lurk a little more it seems. I just finished my theme, after 10 hours of photoshop (I'm not kidding). I'll post it later.
