Jtag hard drive on stock Slim
Hey guys...so I formatted a 250gb hard drive (not a "360 drive") using my jtag...plugged it into my slim...and it doesn't recognize. am I missing something here? or maybe I don't have the drive pushed in all the way? it feels like it's stuck in there pretty good...I dont' like how the slim holds the hard drive personally. anyways...Just wanted to throw out a question. thanks guys!

Peace eazy!

RE: Jtag hard drive on stock Slim
Formatting a "non 360 hdd" in your jtag still will not make a retail pick it up as a standard 360 drive, the hdd will only work in a jtag or rgh console. Otherwise we would have 1tb hdd's in all of our retails Icon_wink
Depending on the drive you formatted for the 360, it may be compatable using hddhackr and a 250gb hddss.bin. Search google for hddhackr, i think they only support WD drives right now.

tested the drive on my stock Fat and it works just fine. oh well...i'll be glitching this thing as soon as i build the lpt cable. awesome. I was more curious....thanks a ton though. the slim is horrible for attaching the hard drive though...takes me a good 10-15 tries before it actually goes in. it's like a virgin trying to have sex!
