You will need the newest build of FreeStyle Dashboard you can get it here freestyledash v1.10

You could also Use the head SVN build if you can compile xex (this fixed Genre crashes)

UPDATE: Change log.

New Options added that are now in the new version of Freestyle Dashboard
New settings menu (uses tabs now use RB and LB to navigate them)
Fixed Aspect ratio on Thumbs in games section
Added more thumbs to game section
New buttons (little images all made by me)
New Game Type options (located in gamedetails)
All animated ( dash needs fixed before they all work its out of my hands)
Fullscreen toggle for video added (located in games section press Back to toggle fullscreen)
may be other stuff cant remember.

Known Bugs:

Recently played from the home screen doesn't function correctly this is my skin it will be fixed on the next release.
same goes for favourites.

Well I would like to see the opposite..lol Like a bigger preview window..That would be nice!

I will do but first i need to get the damn animations working correctly if i cant then it wont have any (or i may leave them in but when entering say gamedetails it wont animate out but it will in pain in the ass)

and am glad you like it.


what would you like instead of the video and i have an idea for the bigger one but need to see if its plausible.

Yeah, this theme is great, though I have to agree a non-video preview version that puts the description where the preview is and then maybe adds a third row of covers would be awesome.

Also, is it just me, or are the covers' proportions off in the grid? The one on the right, of the selected game, is right though.

Oh, and one last thing, have you considered making the cursor in the grid stand out more? The blue doesn't really jump out at you right away, and it can be a tiny bit difficult to see what's selected.

Yup can do there will be 3 versions in the next release might be next week as there are some changes going to be made with the skinning engine so i want to wait till there done before i release a new one.

This truly is the best skin yet, great work! However, is it just me or is there like a 'film' or some sort of effect on the game covers? It makes them look a little odd. Possibly remove this effect?

Also, would it be possible to have the Arcade games section be in list format, while the 360 games be in covers? I think that would be a really cool feature that I've yet to see in any skin. It'd be nice to browse the 360 games by their covers (I'm sure everyone has quite a few more arcade games as opposed to regular 360 games) while keeping the list format for the Arcade section as its much more efficient.
