Changing Fonts in Freestyle Dash Skin
Can anybody tell me how to use custom fonts with a custom theme for Freestyle Dash? I figured out how to add them within Xbox UI Tool, but how do I package them with the skin to work on the actual dashboard?

Thanks.

You need to be more specific for one. For two if your just trying to add specific fonts in menus just change them using gimp 2.6 you can get this from download.com and edit it in the hard coding using the images folder inside your xzp file please let me know if you understand this I'm more than happy to help.

Yea let us know what theme you are trying to customize the font on. Some themes already have a custom font or at least one set in the theme and therefore you would need to rename and overwrite the exising one, usually found in /font or /fonts then it should work. You may need to extract the theme first if it is in .xzp format.

RE: Changing Fonts in Freestyle Dash Skin
Well say I'm building my own skin based on the skinnable default provided, how do I change the default font used for text boxes, buttons and list boxes etc? Like I said previously I was able to figure out how to add them within the UI tool and they become available to use within the software, but if I put the font file in the Font folder and transfer to the xbox they don't show in the actual dashboard. Am I missing something? I even tried editing the skin config file but that didn't fix it either. I Hope I'm being more clear this time.

Thanks for your help.

I could be wrong but hear me out your font you want displayed on your dashboard for lets say Emulators tab. It shows up as normal font now because that's what it is graphically
pictured as. In the images folder of you .xzp you will see theese text menus already done for you just open them and edit them with gimp 2.6 or adobe photoshop or whatever graphical program you choose to use, but be sure to keep the transparent background and just erase whats there type back in the menu to what ever you want it to say using the correct font you want. Important: your format should be PNG so be sure you save your image as a PNG file. This can simply be done by selecting it during saving or by typing .PNG at the end of the file name.

I Hope this helps Its the only way I know how.
