Create QuickBoot for XeXMenu

  1. Extract the files inide XeXMenu_v1.0-XEX.rar
  2. Move all the files into a folder called XeXMenu
  3. Move the folder XeXMenu to your usb hard drive in the usb:\Applications
  4. Run QuickBoot and enter in XeX Menu for the title
  5. Enter any description you want
  6. Enter usb:\Applications\XeXMenu\default.xex for the path if you are using your external usb hard drive
  7. Choose a file type, I set my file type as a game demo. You can also click on the image to choose an icon
  8. Click on Build Quickboot and choose a location to save.
  9. Move your saved file to: content/0000000000000000/C0DE9999/00080000 on the official hard drive, if you chose to save it as a game demo. If you chose the type of an xbox 360 game, I believe it would go in content/0000000000000000/C0DE9999/00007000

This will enable you to add themes to the Media/skins folder

RE: Create QuickBoot for XeXMenu
I am trying to quickboot create a shortcut for freestyle dash, so it shows as a game demo.

I cant seem to get it to work. I have the dash saved in the root of hdd1.

It just shows up as a corrupt demo. what should I be entering as the path? I am using \FreeStyle\ and for the executable: FreestyleDash.xex.

I have tried using the freestyle-hdd file that came with it but that didnt work either.

Any idea?

You may want to check the settings on your FTP program and see how it is sending the files. There should be an option to send as ASCII or Binary. I use Filezilla and have never had issues transferring files.
